¶ Aspartame (aka NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, or Equal-Measure) has killed people and made considerable others ill. Coincidence? Do a Google search on Aspartame. You will be surprised by what you discover. Try this website as well. It's chock-full of information the FDA, CDC and others with a vested interest in Aspartame's success don't want the general public to know. The pro-Aspartame website is located here (sponsored by one of the manufacturers of Aspartame). This website is what most of the public knows about Aspartame because that's what is widely circulated by our media and product marketers. The DVD Sweet Misery discusses Aspartame's development, use, and ultimate medical, legal and political cover-up to assure its worldwide acceptance. A follow-on DVD, Sweet Remedy, discusses how our food is becoming adulterated through ways such as genetic modification (aka GMO foods). BOTTOM LINE: Don't believe me or anyone else--read your food labels, research the ingredients, and draw your own conclusion. It's your health at stake!
¶ Sugar, High Fructose Corn Syrup and Type II Diabetes. Is there a link? You decide!
¶ Are vaccinations actually more harmful than helpful to your body? Read this research (7MB .pdf file) on the topic. If you're leaning toward NOT vaccinating yourself or your children, feel free to use this form when you see your doctor.
¶ We buy our grains and most whole foods from here: BreadBeckers, Full Quiver Farm, Quail Cove Farms, or the Organic Food Depot. Of course, nothing beats the good 'ol Commissary for all the basics!
¶ When making our bread products, our grain mill does the grinding and our bread machine churns out perfect dough for loafs, rolls, cinnabons, pizza crust, you name it. If you've never thought about making your own bread, you really should consider it. It's less expensive and certainly healthier than store-bought products!
¶ If you really want to make some dough, get one of these machines! Made in Sweden and is all but bullet-proof. We don't own one yet, but we borrowed one from a friend. It's really, really good (and really, really expensive--which is why we really, really don't have one yet)!
